Welcome to website of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Khon Kaen University (FVM-KKU). We are the third Veterinary School of Thailand (established in 1986). At present, there are 10 Veterinary Schools has been approved by the Thai Veterinary Council so far. Our school comprises of 9 divisions including Pre-clinic group (Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, and Veterinary Public Health) and Clinic group (Pathobiology, Surgery, Theriogenology, Companion Medicine and Livestock Medicine). We currently have 72 teaching staff (47 with doctoral degree) and 140 supporting staff. There are 500 undergraduate students and approximately 50 graduate students.
      We offer a six years curriculum for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M). This D.V.M program is for those who pass the high ranking qualified examination. We also have international exchange programs with many accredited veterinary schools of the world.
      There are Thai and international graduate programs; as the following; 2 Master of Science programs (Master of Science Program in Veterinary Public Health, Master of Science Program in Veterinary Science (international program)); 1 Doctor of Philosophy programs (Doctor of philosophy Program in Veterinary Science (international program))
      We have the largest Animal Teaching Hospital (ATH) in the northeast region. The ATH’s facility is very spacious and well equipped with modernized tools. Our ATH has a great potential for being an animal health service center for ASEAN countries.
